Hunted mats need rebalancing compared to mined/harvested mats in recipes
In 2.0:
Most leathers require 1 skin
Most ingots require 3 ore
Most lumber requires 3 logs
Most thread requires 2 web/fleece/flax/cotton/whatever
In 3.0:
Most leathers require 3 skins
Most nuggets require 5 sands
Most lumber requires 5 logs
Most thread requires 3 new mats and 2 old mats
Chimerical felt requires 5 manes
All dissolvent requires 4 Deepeye Tears AND 2 of some other hunted mat AND Volcanic Rock Salt (unspoiled node)
HOWEVER, the time/effort it takes to gather 3 skins for one leather is way out of proportion compared to gathering 5 sands/logs for one intermediate mat for those classes. Consider a fair comparison established by the developers: retainer targeted gathering ventures. These were balanced in 2.0 to yield a fixed fraction of what the developers expected people to gather in an hour. Hunting retainers gather 5/7/10 skins per venture depending on gear/level. DoL retainers gather 15/20/30 ore per venture. In 2.0, this was proportional because of the above ratios of base mats to crafted intermediates. 1 venture was worth 5 leather or 5 ingots. In 3.0, 1 venture is worth 3 nuggets but only 1.67 leather. The proportion is all wrong! Please rebalance the number of hunted mats required for certain recipes, whether it be by increasing the drop rate from killing mobs or from retainer venture, or decreasing the number required by each recipe.

Relic: Joyeuse has been used already in the Little Ladies' event this year, though it would've been the ideal rapier. Either the Last Letter or Diabolique would work in its place. As for the off hand...the Soul of Thamasa seems like a good Orb to give a nod to.

This content cycle we have Alexander (my favorite summon, although we haven't seen much of him proper) so maybe 4.0 onwards we'd get a trance to tie into Alexander.

In 2.0 ingots (with the exception of electrum) required 3 base components, in Heavensward they require 6 for nuggets and ingots require 1 nugget and 4 components from hidden nodes.

Sadly FFXIV's dungeons feel excessively long and somewhat unrewarding, seems like they aren't really meant to be done more than once or twice.
